gave up? Back in 1997, my subscription to PCgamer featured an issue about the upcoming Duke Nukem.

Fast Forward 10 years and Take Two Interactive is offering a $500,000 incentive to 3D Realms Studio to finish Duke Nukem by the end of 2006. Still its not out and finally we have gameplay screnes.

I almost failed my highschool final exams because of the original game. If by some chance this new game can capture the following of the original Duke Nukem. I will have to find a new line of work.

Yea that game was sick back then, I dont think it will be as much fun when the new one comes out simply because there are so many other great shootings games out there to compete with now.

Starcraft 2 will be a different story!

Any game that takes 12 freakin years for a sequel is gonna be crap, especially given the current crop of shooters. Screens look good, but not 12 years in development good.

Looks terrible, will be terrible.
3D Realms sucks at developing and have some of the worst designers in the business working there.

A few years ago they were almost done. Heck, even had a trailer releazed. Then whatever the hell happened and... nothing.

It was actually complete, they didn't release it because it sucked. Badly. This one will be forced to be released because they've spent too much money on it and will try to get sales based on the name. If they wait any longer the gamer base will not remember what Duke Nukem is anymore and they will get none of the money back.
