unlike vancouver their traffic never stops moving. Slow but still moving.

Those are actually scooters. They are very popular in most Asian countries. When I was in Phuket everyone rode one cause you could get super drunk and still be able to operate one.

This reminds me of Italy. I could not believe the traffic in Rome. No painted lanes about 5 cars wide with only centimetres separating them and thousands of bikes and scooters zipping through.
It looked like chaos. If you tried to drive defensivele you were not getting anywhere but as soon as you started to drive like them - fast, agressive but AWARE of everyone on the road - it worked great.
Interesting thing is I didn't see single accident in two days.
