looking at a ninja 500r, first in line.....then a gs500f....and lastley does anyone know much about a 1984 suzuki GS750, such as reliability or does anyone have a ninja or gs500 for around $3000...thanks

Can't go wrong with a Ninja 500 or a GS...great starter bikes, comfy upright riding position, handle well, quick, reliable...yatta yatta. Out of the 2, I would chose the Ninja, but have ridden both, and they are equally fun.

GS750, good bike too.....both 500's will be better choices IMO...relatively easy to find and easy to sell.

Asking $3500....might get it closer to 3k, although, if it's clean, this is very well priced already:
