Great dualsport/'tard day yesterday to Goldbridge with Sushigirl, Tony, Evan, G-Spot and FJR Eh. And others too sorry I forgot all your names. One helluva day and a long one too.

Mostly easy ride on busted pavement, loose gravel and hardpack. Dry surface helped.

Gotta love Braelorn: there were probably more 2 stroke MXs and quads in the streets than cars yesterday; it has its own small local ghost town; the waitress in the pub threatened to murder us all if we didn't stop there for lunch next time. :laughing

I'm definitely adding more DS rides to my calendar from now on. Ya thumpers!

I'll post some pics when I get home tonight.

That beach down below made my day. Here's another one of it, and one from the top on the highway.

Was that Anderson Lake??

Gurp stopping to allow a family of ants to cross the highway.

The bright lights and hub-hub of downtown Goldbridge. No gas available though, and the gas station is for sale if anyone wants it.

Mix of different riders and bikes yesterday. I'm the one on the Sherman tank aka. KLR650.

Second pic is the ghost town in/near Bralorne. Looks like my neighbour's house actually.

Where did you guys leave from?

I left from Surrey early a.m., the group met in West Vancouver at 7:00 a.m. and kind of grew from there to Pemberton. Really long day with plenty of stops, but well worth it. My first time on this route, probably about 650 km (?) door to door. We ended up in Lillooet by about 5:30 p.m. and rode pavement home.

is sooo choked i missed this ride, due to filling my tire with ''snake oil''. the night before i decided to add some ''slime'' into my rear tire, in case i get a flat on this ride.

6:45 am sunday morning, the rear tire i ''slimed'', goes flat on the second narrows bridge. Murphy's Law at it's best:banghead

Glad to see that you found the tunnel.

I left Bralorne at 2, arrived at Darcy at 4 via Anderson Lake, high line road.
Pembertom 4:30 (ran into Mike at the gas station) and arrived at Whistler at 5:00, just made the check-in cut off.

I felt uneasy all day...in a hurry....knowning that had to be in a place at a certain time. It would have been nce to have slowed down some.

Next time I've be there for all of the group ride.

i left my “mark” on it :laughing

carpenter lake. i begin to wonder whether you really did the two alaska trips or you just photo-shopped your self into those landmark pictures.

No, that really was me. The only missing detail though is I drove there in a Winnebago. My bike was strapped to the back, and removed only for photo ops. Don't tell anyone, but that's why I travel solo. :)

Hey Roger that slime stuff is supposed to prevent flats. Maybe try inserting the pointy end into a different orifice next time. :eek
