...i need some help. I'm building a scale model and wanted to know if the instructions are correct. Is this a stock color scheme for the busa in 2002?

Yes it was.... also why not do a search for "2002 Hayabusa" on google and hit the "images" tab. that should help with the other color schemes.

Kinda common though. There are two guys, brothers I think, that have matching bikes in my little town. Even matching jackets if you can believe that! :laughing

take it easy there buddy, he's not making fun of busas.
anyways, rockshok, i don't know if you've built models before, but just in case, here's a couple tips...
instructions call for use of an emery board to file down the little plastic nubs, but just use a box cutter, like an Olfa blade.
quick, fast and clean, it works perfectly.
For contact cement, you can actually buy that stuff in glue stick form now, I just used the end of a paper clip to apply the glue. no mess at all.

You could always go with the much faster SE color
I have seen a silver Busa with all the gawdy decals removed,(all of them) and you would not believe how great it now looks. The cheesy stickers detract from the bikes appearance. And this bike needs help in that department
And as a former Prince Rupert resident, (74-86) rest assured that our riding friends up there know how to take care of buisness if any trouble comes up!!!....it's something you learn after crossing the Galloway Rapids, and cruising down Apache pass..

CLARIFICATION
I believe the FZ1 was clearing the "phlem" in its throat from slowly following Gramps on the Busa inorder to make sure he didn't hurt himself whilst tryin' to keep pace with an '86 VFR :laughing:flip :laughing...
Yep, the memory IS the first thing to go.... especially the memory of the right wrist :p. Man, yousa gonna need twist therapy before you come back down to the garder :laughing.

With respect to the paint-scheme rockshox posted...did you ever notice how the downward swoosh on the side fairing looks like the head of a falcon? Especially with that strategically placed bolt to make it look like an eye. Someone pointed that out to me once, and now that's all I see. It looks cool!

Well, it is faster than the scale model right? haha
BTW a $1.00 resistor will take care of the limiter

well, your close John....I deal with Lon there LOL
The tank bra is on order.....throttle lock is sitting on the fridge....I already installed the optional centerstand....
I gotta get my break in miles on before I worry about making it any faster than it already is.
