runs great, still looks pretty sweet, but needs a little work. looks like the photo except with t-tops and stock 6 spoke mags, and the problems mentioned below (basically age). some details:
- fiberglass body kit
- shaved door handles, open on remote, new actuator on
driver’s side
- shaved emblems
- H4 headlight kit
- T Tops don’t leak
- Clifford G4 alarm, professionally installed
- 5 speed, wide ratio
- new rear rotors & pads. front in good cond.
- new flowmaster muffler
- new belts
- new starter
- hi performance clutch
- light weight flywheel
- k&n filter
- JVC cassette deck, 12 cd changer. Individual units work
fine, but do not communicate
- 2way 6x9 speakers in rear in boxes
- Aftermarket sway bars
- restored 8 years ago
- includes used snow tires
- ~290,000kms
- very reliable engine
- cheap insurance
- about 550kms on 60L tank of gas
The problems:
- needs rear parking brake cable and possibly one rear caliper
- needs one hood hinge pin replaced
- not currently AirCared
- rust along bottom edge of doors, but rest of doors are solid
- rust on front lip of hood
- misc rust here and there, but overall a very solid ZX
- tires havent got much life left in them
the ideal buyer would be someone with some bodywork skills. if you can deal with the bodywork urself, this is a killer deal. otherwise i can recommend a bodyman that works REAL cheap.no engine work needed. runs beautifully. email/pm me or call at 604-986-2634. car is in north vancouver. $1500.
