I was just at the Toronto Motorcycle Show this past weekend, and Derbi has a street legal version of their 125GP machine destined for Canada. According to the sales rep, they received the bike from Spain a couple of days before the show and it is VERY similar to the GP bike, but a little detunned. The thing has upside down forks and looks excellent. It must MURDER tight twisties.... and be SUPER good on INSURANCE!!!!

Why not just buy 6 Derbi scooters for the same price, then you would have your own Italian race team.
nice but by a real 125 if yer riding on the track.much faster and for less $$ too.

John what does a 125 GP bike go for? Used that is. I don't see many if at all for sale.

Somewhere J1k just popped a boner for no apparent reason.

95+ honda rs125's can range from $3000 to $5000 USD or even up to $8000 USD to latest ones (depending on the year, condition, spares it comes with, etc)
You can find pre 95 honda's from 1 to 3 grand.

I wonder how detuned it might be. The Derbi 50 was detuned to be almost unrideable (so I've read).
Too bad the insurance would be the same as a 250 .. I think the cut off is 110cc.

Holy shit! :eek
Marco, how big is it? CG's 125 is tiny...a lot smaller than I thought a 125gp bike would be.
