I'm curious to learn where bikes are disappearing from. We may be able to forward results of the poll to ICBC for the Bait Bike program. Just my thoughts.

Sorry but wouldn't ICBC already know this info?

Help increase your chances if you live in an underground.... www.bikebrace.com get your slip on next summer, keep your ride this summer.

I really don't want this to turn into a flame fest like allot of threads here. I don't give ICBC credit for anything. I believe in part it's up to us to protect our sport and community in whatever ways we can.

... because you can really do a much better job compiling this (very official/accurate) data than ICBC who records where and how things were stolen before paying them out.

Vancouver and North Vancouver are in the same category?
anyone know how common it is in Vancouver compared to North Vancouver?
of the 12 people who have selected Vancouver/NVan so far... how many were in North Van? (as my interest is obviously because i'm currently living in north van and always feel paranoid of my bike getting stolen despite it only being a ZZR250)

East Van, underground parking. Lesson learned the hard way.

Langley. I live in the boonies where you can't even see my house from the street and every other person on my street rides a bike, but they chose to take mine! Lousy thugs...

ICBC adjusts insurance rates geographically based on the rate of crime and accidents.

They may give you a bait bike program, but alongside it will come a nice increase in insurance rates ;)

I guess bikes never get stolen in Delta because it's not even an option.

Delta is Surrey. Don't let anybody tell you otherwise...especially someone who claims they live in "NORTH Delta". Pfft! Puh-leease!
