So on my morning commute up Knight this morning, I notice a surprising abundance of those rolling-accidents-waiting-to-happen known as container trucks.
I guess that means the strike is over and I should start carrying my rosary, crucifix and holy water with me while riding up the most truck-congested route in the lower mainland?

When they're turning, DO NOT position yourself on their outside edge. Seen quite a few containers fall off these things in turns, when I lived near the port.

Might have been out of town trucks bringing containers to the ports.

The strike is still on.

I know that some of the docks are still moving containers, mostly by rail, but they are accepting some export containers from out of town. Anything getting transferred locally is not being accepted due to the yards being full. A lot of cargo is being diverted to Seattle right now because of the strike.

I agree with all the above EXCEPT the "they're slow" part. Most trucks I see are barrelling down the main streets and highways and generally pushing traffic out of the way.

Plus don't forget about the "If you can't see my mirrors, *I* can't see you!" thing too :)
