well i cant say it doesnt ruffle my feathers whenever i hear those statements. As something which my life is based on, it obviously will be a topic im more than passionate about.

Gotta say though, placing this movie akin to 'bowling for columbine' and 'Supersize me' sure doesnt give it a whole lot of credit in my books to begin with.

I was surprised at that as well. If this movie really *is* serious, and not a mockumentary, I think the filmmakers could have retained a lot more dignity and objectivity in their audience by distancing themselves from the sensationalistic films mentioned.

Bowling for Columbine and Supersize Me are interesting films that make you think about some cultural issues. But there's a fair bit of each film that needs to be taken with a grain of salt, as the clips are largely taken out of context (in BforC) or in a contrived scenario to start with (SSme). Since this God movie is lumped in with them, if I see it, i'll be going in with the expectation that the same is true here (despite my atheistic position).

He was murdered.If your version of a monotheistic god showed itself in a manner that was truly factual, then there would be no requirement for your belief. Given that belief is fundamental to your faith, then your religion, as you know it, would end.

It seems silly to take an organised religion, which has been worked over through ages to benefit personal greed of those in charge, and try to prove through IT that God doesn't exist is kind of silly...

Using logic to prove He doesn't exist is just as idiotic as trying to prove through logic that He DOES exist...
