I was competing this past Sunday in a trials event at Ioco, and had not ridden in almost 1 year. As I was leaving my place, I decided to wear one of Julia's Motorcycle Monday T-shirts to honour her passion for motorcycles, and to say how much I miss her. It was a regional points event with riders from Oregon, Washington and BC.

As I drove to the event, I prayed to her out loud and told her that I was wearing the T-shirt for her and would try my best to win something.

Well, she must have been riding along with me, as I ended up coming in 2nd place in my category, beaten only by a long time rider who usually competes in a tougher class. It was so cool to win something for Julia, so I had a few pics taken of the medallion, and of course, wearing the magical Flying Swan Motorcycle Monday's T-Shirt..!!!!!!...... :thumbup

Maybe you should frame that shirt and hang it on the wall. That way it will never be an immortalized tribute to look at for years to come. Put those pictures in with it too.

Good on ya man! I can almost hear her now "Hey everyone!!!! Listen up! Look what Doug won for me!!!" With all the tragic events that have been happening, this brought a real smile to my face! Congrats to you. :thumbup
