    What a cool street! I'll bring something for us as we talk about bikes and I look forward to meeting you.

    No Vincent as I have little mechanical ability, but I'm still a fan of great bikes.
    Love the photo of Rollie Free at Bonneville and his spirit of less safety gear for more speed is so daring. Couldn't even imagine losing it on the salt flats but it's a real possibility because that stuff is a little loose. Super brave.

    The other night I was driving home and heard the song 'Vincent Black Lightning 1952' on the satelite radio - and connected with it. 3 reasons:

    1. I like bluegrass music and play mandolin (2 years now);
    2. A classic bike IS something to sing about and it's a good little story;
    3. A red head in black leather - who can resist?

    Best wishes with your Vincent and post some pictures up. Your posts are good and I hope to meet you some day.

    hello Jeff,
    we've ridden together a couple times, and you've struck me a pleasant guy, a quick rider, and sensible, so I'm wondering if it might interest you to join Peter Irvine (LCPeter) and I for a week of riding in central Oregon the last week of June, leaving June 25 back July 4. based out of Eugene. pretty much a repeat of what Rick Hickson (liketoride) and his group did last year, but he's got other plans. two days heading south, first night in Clatskanie OR. mostly sticking to secondary routes, some even rather obscure. a day each NE, SE, SW, and NW of Eugene, then 2 days back. average day 450-600kms. somewhere between 3 and 8 people.
    not sure how your time is and so on, but thought I'd toss it out there...
    cheers,
    Don Serl
