I've noticed that most people seem to put down their left foot when stopped at a light. Is there any logic behind this?
I always put my right foot down - it's much more convenient because I always kick the bike into neutral at a light, and it's easier to have my gear-shift foot ready on the gear shift.
And no, I don't use the rear brake when I'm stopped on a hill - I just use the clutch + throttle to keep the bike still (obviously, the bike is in first gear in such cases, and not in neutral); works very well and I can always start moving at an instant's notice.
So the question is, why do most people put down their right foot? Gimme the good stuff behind the action
