Well folks, I just spent the better part of the last hour and a half drooling over the Z1000. That is one trick bike, love the special attention to detail the Kawi. engineers have laboured over.
Plus with a price of 10,400 approx. It would make an ideal commuter/cafe racer bike.
The polished rims are clear coated, everything is nicely color coded, the upside down forks, the radical arcade style upper fairing, "smallness" of the bike, more like a Buell Thunderbolt in wheelbase I would think, the swept tail, Kei. fuel inj. and 954cc...plus it's got the same trick dash. as the 6R/6RR
They currently have the orange and green ones on the floor, it's a nice bright green too, not a dull one.
The ZX6R and ZX6RR are most likely going to be in just before the Abbotsford show....
If I had a Z1000 for daily rides and a ZX6R/6RR for Sunday's and track days I would be on a constant high...24/7/365
