So with this great weather I finally insured the bike today and went for a 3 hour ride. TONS of riders out on the road, broad specrum of riders, sportbikes to metric cruisers to harley riders. Most riders are nodding, waving to me as we come within proximity. By no means am I the most forthcoming with my waves but I'll always return them, sometimes give them, or quick chitchat at the red light about the day or wahtever. But whats the deal with harley riders thinking their too cool to be friendly with any rider other than a fellow harley rider? This happend a few times today, and I aint no squid in sandals and a muscle shirt. These old dogs are lame ass. In my view regardless of the brand we ride we are all riders and a mutual respect or comradarie is what I demonstrate towards all. This is the start of my 5th season riding and this has been the majority of my experiences with these clowns. The other day my friend who was on his metric cruiser was "shooed away" by a harley guy cause he didnt like his jap bike cruiser. No sir, I dont like it. I never liked the ignorant arrogant harley mentality. end rant.
