So up until today I've had my class 7 for the cage, and 8 for the bike.
My restrictions for the car were simple: no alcohol, and no more than 1 person in the car (immediate family exempt), unless I had a 25+ supervisor... the usual.
My restrictions for the bike were: no alcohol, no passengers, no riding at night.
I went for my class 5 today, and got all car restrictions removed. They also threw in a 6L as part of the package.
The difference between class 8 and 6L?
Now I can drink and ride.
Looks like ICBC thinks it would be safer for me to have a few beers and grab the bike rather than ride at night. Yeah, makes perfect sense...
Guess they think people don't drink mid day. Little do they know.
(No, I wouldn't drink and ride.)
