Jun 24: Meeting details added at the end of this post.
The first ride last year was a lot of fun (http://bcsportbikes.com/forum/showth...=smell+posies).
So I thought why not make this an annual event.
Please have a look at the original post by Gurp. Some of my own notes:
-This is a slow ride. No, really. Straight line speeds will be exceedingly slow and boring for sportbikes.
-This ride is ideal for motards / dual sports that don't mind sticking close to the speed limit and enjoy the bumps, frost heaves and gravel the Duffy has to offer.
-This ride will have plenty of gravel in the corners. We'll try to seek it out. It's fun stuff
-While slow, this isn't really a newbie ride. It will be a long day (11+ hours from experience) and that isn't ideal if it's someone first time on these distances. You should be fairly self sufficient.
There will also be plenty of stops for picture taking opportunities.

The KLR in it's element
I haven't decided on a meeting place, but this ride will leave by 8 am to ensure we can get back at a somewhat reasonable hour. The destination the same as last year, around Duffy Lake.
This ride is weather dependent as I'm not much for dragging SLRs out in the rain
EDIT: Meeting Details:
Place: Chevron off Exit #7 on Hwy 1
Time: 8 am
Destination and route: We'll have a chat where we'll discuss the route. Basic direction is "North" with stops along the way till we get to Lilloeet
