Well, an interesting day at the ol’ track. 4 red flags while I was there, with 3 (or 4?) requiring hospital visits – very sad to see some good guys suffer broken bones… I hope they all heal up soon. There was some great racing amidst the frequent flags, the man-eating mosquitoes in T3 and an oncoming sunburn.
I have over 2,000 pics to sort through from today (lots of duplicates when you shoot 6.5 frames /sec!) including the stunt show stuff - BTW, very entertaining! - I will post up a link to the best of rest in a couple of days, but here are a couple for starters:
Empty pole position on the grid of the afternoon novice race in memory of Sonny Zalkowsky:
The sad state of the Greg Moore plaque in Turn 2
I’ll get to the rest soon - time to get outside & celebrate Canada Day with some cold beer!
