Ok i will use this thread for all my noob questions that i have so that i don't open new one and people get on my a$$ for opening new one if the question has been asked already.
I have an 07 Yamaha R6
Yes i know this is not a beginner bike but i am sick of buying used and having to fix them up all the time. I know my limit and i will ride it harder as my skills get better. So there is no need for everyone to ride my ass now why i bought an R6, how i should get a 250 ninja or whatever...
I have a many questions if someone knows the answer please help me out. If you don't and are annoyed by people asking these "dumb" question then just ignore it and move on to the next thread please. Thank you
OK now to the point.
This is where i have the biggest problem and if i don't fix it soon i will probably do big time damage on my bike.
Every time i shift i rev the engine on up or down shifts.
Q: How do i shift so that it's smooth? I try it all, i practice, I watch videos but most of the time i rev the damn thing and i can see it's not right. At riding school when i was on a 250 it was fine but with this bigger bike i can't get it down whatsoever.
I also read that clutch less shifting is not bad for your bike i would also like to learn that. I just don't want to be driving 80km and trying to shift up and damaging my bike by not releasing the throttle enough yad yad yad
(if it's too hard to explain i am willing to buy someone a 24pack of beer to show me for an hour or less the best technique )
