I have been living here for little over two years. For past two years been riding on public transit. Been riding light bike (cbr125) for couple weeks. I used to ride bike/scooters 10 years ago in India.
1. I find that some turns / curves on roads here are inclined outward instead of inward to the turn. I feel this is dangerous as it reduces the traction and increases chances of skid. No matter how smooth the road is it should incline inward on curves. Degree of inclination proportionate to the speed limit of road.
2. Other thing is that road is not broken but is uneven big time. The lane is basically of shape w. The center part has high bumps.
I guess after some more experience on these roads I will get used to it.
My bike's wheels are narrow compared to regular bikes, I'm not sure if that affect ride quality.
I have lived in California before moving here, I think the roads there are far better than here.
