I thought my little parking lot incident was my one and only 'crash'. Not so much.
Did a really stupid rookie mistake. Was too heavy on front break going in to a very easy corner (a bend in the road actually), fixated on the ditch... In my head i knew i had to turn, but the damn thing would not. As soon as i got on the gravel (70kph was the last i saw my speedo) i knew i was done for. Then bike hits a big rock and stops. I keep on going 20-30 feet down the ditch, one side on the road, one side on gravel. Road side knee is scrapped up pretty badly, other side is fine. Jacked and gloves saved my ass big time. Gravel side has a huge gash in it from sharp rocks, road side is rashed through fabric and to the last layer of mesh.
Bike damage: shift rear is held in place by... linkage to the gearbox itself
frame that support the headlights and all that is gone, urgh, lots of bad things.
BIKE starts now. w00t w00t!
that is where i first went on the gravel. bike is where it stopped. i was about 10 feet infront of it.
So can i call it a street fighter if i did not crash it on a street?
