Im want to polish the rims on my old school 88 gsxr but ive come to a bit of a hold up. I was in the process of takin the rear disc off and i had to fight every single bolt, i dunno if someone put some crazy glue on the threads or what but you should see the allan key i used. It twisted almost around completly. Anyways, the last bolt I was on i managed the strip the head (the threads are ok) I thought i was backin it out but it was just the allan key twisting. So i figure no problem ill drill a hole and use an easy out or something. In the process of drillin the hole the bit broke inside. So i got the head of the bolt gone already and i got this hardened peice of steel in their. Help!! I dont think ill be able to drill it out now. I tried but, my bits could all just be dull. So what are my options, anyone got any ideas? I guess i could take it to a machine shop and they could probably do it but im looking for sumthin a little cheaper. Thanx for the help guys.
Maybe its a sign this polishing thing is a bad idea???
