Well I hope this thread gets the attention of someone who may know if this is true or just another rumor regarding ICBC cracking down on converted dirt bikes into Supermoto's or even dual sports for that matter.
I was reading in the Supermoto build thread ( http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=101494 ) that the rules were about to be changed and I have heard that things were going to be going the same way as Ontario.
Maybe speculation on some hearsay but I have personally heard it in a few places.
Now if any of this isn't true then please don't shoot the messenger as I am just looking for info for myself and any others trying to make a go of getting a Supermoto plated or converting an existing dirt bike.
If anyone here personally knows the fellow from Cassels insurance who posts on here I thought he might have some input on the matter or possibly member has a girl or boyfriend in the insurance industry that might shed some light about the new rules?
Funny how in the day of Carbon taxes and the search for fuel efficient alternatives they would choose to pick on us bikers.
Thanks for any input or ideas pointing me and others into the right direction.
