Best Places to get Bike checked / inspected??

    Hi guys,

Trying to find a used bike... Does anyone have suggestions for good places to take a bike for an inspection?

Best places in Richmond, Vancouver, Surrey, etc... I don't know where I'll find my bike and I'm assuming the seller won't want to drive that far...

Or if you know a good person/mechanic that would do a mobile one.

I heard Imperial is good, but that's near East Van, any others?

THANKS!!! I can't wait to get my first bike!

Also, how much should this cost? $100?

    Essential

They did a great job installing my 520 conversion and setting up the suspension on my bike. Handles great.

Full Metal Jacket - I'll sell you some ARVN rifles ... never been fired and only dropped once

Nah - one of my friends uses Mspeed almost exclusively and he gets good service there. If they're local use em.

Here is a review of Essential Motorcycle Services, I just made today.
    --------------------------------------------------------

I just bought an older ninja 500 that had been sitting for two years. It looked good, but I knew it would be in rough shape internally.

So I called around a few places, checked out some webpages, read about all the shops here and decided to give them a call (for two reasons, good reviews here and they have a good special going on).

After a bit of a harrowing morning, I took the ninja to them and Ted proceeded to take it completely apart, give it a tune up and carb clean (and a whole lot more) and put it back together. The bike runs fine now (and what a sweet bike it is).

Ted is great. Hands down has a lot of practical experience and he loves what he does. Enthusiastic about where he wants his motorcycle shop business to go.

He worked very well and fast because he is so good. Now, I had a Ninja 600R which I took apart, swapped the motor and put it back together, ALL BY MYSELF following my Clymer manual, so I know how hard this stuff is. It took me almost two weeks. Ted easily knew how to get things put together and I can tell its from long time expertise.

I'll be doing more work from Essential Motorcycle Services, I just wanted to post this as a good review.

Also, they specialize in QUICK oil changes, break changes, and tire changes. They just happen to be great at repairs and tune ups as well.
