Hey guys I bought a non starting 89 hurc, I replaced a faulty solenoid and now the starter kicks over. I dont however have any spark. I have power to the coils and to the CDI box, the battery holds a good 12v, and all my fuses look fine. Im wondering how I can narrow the problem down to the CDI? They are expensive so I want to be 100% sure. Im not aware that you can test them without huge brains and maybe a peak voltage adapter!?!

I might ask my local dealership to test the CDI for me, if thats the problem does anyone have a heads up on where to get them cheap (best Ive seen is Ebay for 150). Will a f2 CDI work? Seems to be much more of those around!.

Thanks alot
