Ok, I am considering getting an older Kawasaki (Ninja) EX 500 or Ninja 250. Just something to putt around on, I don't care about the age. There are a few of these around and I'm considering between a few right now, but they are all ugly colors.
I'd like to paint the bike a solid color, like gloss black. There should be the front fender, the bottom fairing, the top faring, the gas tank, and the two side fairings. May have a back fairing peice as well.
I understand that some of the guys here have been able to paint their bikes for $300-$400, is that correct?
Can someone help me with this? Even prepping it so I can take it to a CAR autobody shop would help.
Actually, I'm not that picky about the paint, as the price of the bike is low and I'll probably drop the bike anyway. But I do want to do a decent job, with over coat and etc... There are stickers that would have to be removed.
I did look on the net and found instructions for it, but I just don't have the tools or know how to do it. I'm willing to learn if someone can show me.
Any suggestions? Or perhaps where I can get this painted cheaply.
