I recently met a hand full of you guys up in Quesnel as I came up with Glenn, Rich, Sat, Nick, and Dhillon. I was the chubby fellow with the BC Stunters hoodie.
After watching the races all day on Sunday I think that was enough for me to want to get into the tards and try my hand on the track. Now I would not want to jump in balls out. I want to try a smaller bike and just have fun with it, I was thinking a 150 or somthing along those lines. I may be a bit big for a 150 but I have been beating the snot out of my crf 50 for over a year now so I figure a 150 would be fine for my size??
So where do I begin? I read Bills post about the list of bikes but I dont want anything big just a little bike to have fun on. The few guys that were riding the smaller bikes and that old school 1980's honda......It looks like a blast and I want in on it.
A little back story on my riding;
I have been riding for almost 4 years now and currently own an 2005 636r that I got brand new out of the box but have no racing experience on it just street. I also have a 2004 636r that is used souly for stunting as it is set up as a stunt bike, and I got a 2004 crf 50 that has been my (for fun) ride that has been to hell and back. I know I am not a total newbie with bikes but have no track time under my belt.
Who can point me in the right direction? I would love to pick up a semi new bike that I could just jump on and hit Tradex with? or I could pick up a stock bike and convert it???? Either way if you know anyone who could help me out please let me know as I would love to get out there as early as next season!
