Wow, what a b!tch.
Bart: What's Santa's Little Helper doing to that dog? Looks like he's trying to jump over, but he can't quite make it.
I was watching the individual female gymnastics last night, and even to a layman you could tell there was some fucked up judging. I support the dude, stick it to the man.
I never saw it, but I do remember reading about what happened to Roy Jones, the Olympics aren't always... uhh fair :P
Anything scored can be manipulated or second guessed.
The actual races, or games with goals are the only place where it is cut and dry.
So very classy.
Cry in the dojo, laugh on the battlefield
Sparring speed is a matter of simple physics:
The height of your flight is inversely proportionate to the mass of your ass.
if you want to include the Chinese men and the one gymnast that is 13 to the government but all other supporting documents say he is 17 and they won the gold mainly because of him. and yes the 8 year old female gymnasts.
The opening anthem being lip singed, the fireworks on TV being pre-recorded and dubbed into the broadcast. The entire Beijing Olympics are a joke and a facade

- The whole religious complexion of the modern world is due to the absence from Jerusalem of a lunatic asylum.
Anyone seen this poll around?
Who will win more medals at the Olympics in 2008???
B: Michael Phelps
Canada sucks at Summer Olympics!!!!....we would prolly do better in 2010 being the host country we should be able to manipulate results in our favor....

See, you are just bitter. Just because the Chinese gymnasts haven't yet lost all their baby teeth doesn't mean that they are not 16! They have GOVERNMENT issued id and valid passports showing that they are 16. Issued by the government of China. Now that you know the facts you must feel pretty low.Originally Posted by J Scott
Yeah it's crazy how young those chinese gymnasts look, under 10 for sure
but does that even matter? is it an advantage? I'd say not - they have less years of training. Still crazy tho, lol
It is an advantage and it does matter. They are more flexible and therefore can do certain moves much better before puberty. The rules are 16 and up because doing these more difficult moves greatly increases the chances of serious long-term injuries to muscles, bone and ligaments in pre-pubescent girls. The idea is that they won't be made to do these moves because they won't be allowed in the Olympics anyways. Don't ask me for details, I am just passing on what I've heard in conversations and read.
