Question What gear am I in???

Anyone know what is a good gear indicator for a 06 CBR600RR since I keep trying to go into 7th gear more often than not. I checked the forums and there's the GIPro but it for Kawi's and Gxrs only. Has anyone used/ installed one for CBR's and where can I get one. Thanks for any info passed on.

Match your speed with RPM and you should be able to tell what gear you are in.

I still look for a "7th" gear on my bike from time to time. It's normal. Matching the RPMs is a great idea.

Acumen makes gear indicators for all bikes. There are some other brands too.

There is a cool mod on 600rr.net where someone takes your dash and installs custom color LED backlighting AND a gear indicator right in the dash. It is pretty sweet.

check it out: some guy was doing it as a business for a bit but it started last year.

    They are very elusive
