Speaking of motors, my motor is super dirty around the bottom and the back due to some oil spitting out somewhere. I won't know from where until I clean that entire thing off. There is oil collected on the bike parts behind the motor (center stand, rear suspension) that shows that it had been spitting a tttiiiinnnnyy bit of oil for a while.
My mechanic suggested I get some engine cleaner/degreaser (like Simple Green), to DILUTE it and spray it on the motor.
I went to Canadian Tire and got a degreaser and it says its good for engines (cars) and to keep it away from aluminum, painted services, and motorcycles. What the heck? This is the same as Simple Green (right beside it, I got it instead because it seemed like a more purpose cleaner.
If I dilute this, is that ok? Can I just use it a full strength? What do you use to clean that motor?
