I see alot of ads that say the carbs had to be redone after sitting a few years. Lets take a older Kawi 440 twin carb setup as an example. If the carbs needed to be redone, I assume this is just a carb kit is it not? There is only really a dismantle and clean, and if that dont work throw a carb kit at it, and if that wouldnt work you would have to get a new carb correct? So can anyone give me just a balpark figure on what they think getting the carbs redone on a 440 ltd just as an example, woul be some help to me. Im thinking on one that has carb issues and wonder what it could run me. I think its an 1982 or so. Is this like a $200 shop bill, or a $500 bill?
