Better be a 450 with FI and a 6-speed
It's a 6 speed but with a lame 250 motor... seriously who buys these things??

Uh oh, another 250 single four stroke. I rode the Yamaha equivalent this year, and what a piece of shit it was. Maybe this one will be different.
The 250 yamaha SM couldn't pull the stink off of a turd, that is how gutless it was.
I don't get why they make those 250s for the street.
Thought maybe Kawi would come out and make a street tard with the KX 450 motor.
Wow , another bike built entirely wrong market it was designed for.
It looks like its peeing in the manhole cover.
i may have played ball if it had a 450
one of these days i'm gonna change my evil ways, till then i'll just keep ridin' on.
I'm don't own a SM and I don't know much about what goes into making a high performance motard for track use...
But for god's sake, anyone with half a brain can see that the bike needs a motor that performs like a serious 4 stroke motorcross. Perhaps if you remove all the emission and noise control, and spend a bunch of time & money tuning it, it "MIGHT" go...
In stock form, if the pilot farted, the bike would probably accelerate.
would be worth giving this bike a chance ... kawi's produced some strong 250cc engines... low insurance class, low weight with ample power... bike could be a winner.
Gimme a 650.
250 is a learner bike/commuter.
Obviously it's not going to be any kind of beast, but around town it'd be a hoot, and it'd make a good beginner bike too.
What can I say, I like wee little engines. Underpowered bikes are FUN.
Looks like a re-vamp of the 250 motard they sold in Europe 10 years ago. OK for town work, and new riders, plus it's cheap on fuel and insurance. But I don't think it'll fly in the land of freeways and wide open spaces.
