Ok here is my story ....lol
(1997 gsxr 600)
Ever since i got this bike 5 months ago it would sputer and stall once in a while on the freeway.
After I let it sit for 15 min or so......vrooommm ( sound of it starting)
Then it would be fine for the rest of my trip home.
Last night after work it sputtered and died again.... no worries ...I'll wait . This time the battery is not charged at all. ( usually I can crank it after i wait)
. I bump started it and headed on my home 10 min later it stalled again. waited...... Bump started it agian.....
I filled it up at the gas station. Bump started it and took it home.
after a hour i bump started AGAIN I took it for a small rip ... The lights were dim. The battery was dieing/ dead. The lights would flicker once in a while. but barely made it home. It sounded like it was running on two cylinders.
I got home took the battery out of it and hooked it up to my jeep.
It fired right up....... As soon as i diconected the bike from my jeep battery it died.
I got a new battery today and will try that when a i get home but........
My questions are....
Will the bike typically stay running if you remove the battery posts?
- I figure it should seeing as the MAg should be making power for the bike to run!!!?!?
My other question is WTF is wrong here. MAG??? Voltage regulator???.... Computer????
