Rear brake pad replacement on gixxer thou

So the service manual says to change the rear brake pads with the caliper still bolted onto the bike ... Any tips or tricks to make sure the pistons dont move in towards the disk when I take the old pads out (other than not pressing the lever/pedal down )

I also like the way in the pics that the right side of the swingarm is missing, and the bit that holds the spool conveniently blocks the forward bolt from coming about, hampering the ability to remove the caliper in the first place (unless you move the wheel forward all the way it seems)

If you wanna say something, speak into the mic. It's right above my balls.

if you don't press the brake pedal......they won't move. you will have to press the pistons back in though to put the new ones in.
That that doesn't kill us forces us to live with a busted up bike!!
