ne ideas where the pic is from other then generally east asia?
this pic reminds me of this story my dad always tells me.
im sure many older asians have a similar story.
imagine if you will a family in poor, rural china. a mom, a dad, 3 kids, aged 5, 8 and 10.
they need to get from point A to point B and if they were to walk, it would take maybe an hour's walk.
so what do they use to get there? the family minivan? mebbe if it was in Canada.
they use a simple bicycle.
dad is the main "rider", one kid between Pop and the handlebars, 2 kids in the "back", riding on the luggage rack thingy, facing opposite ways, one left, one right, and with Mom on the handlebars.
obviously ur only going like superslow, but still faster than walking.
I would think that's either in Tailand or Malaysia.
That reminds me when I was little, my dad had me in the front standing on the platform. My sister was in between dad and mom and my little brother was on my mom's back on a Piaggio like this 30 years ago. Helmet was not required 30 yrs ago in my home town.
Definitely not Thailand.... I spent 2 days looking for a full face (even went to honda dealorship) before giving up....
