Hey new riders and old folks here. Over the years, the executive team members in the UBC Motorcycling Club have worked hard, by hosting newbie rides and newbie seminars, to create this network as a platform for riders to know each other. Now, volunteering as what we have always been doing, we are thinking of creating a scheduled newbie network/social nights. This is an excellent chance for the new riders out there to make friends, and to know/understand the motorcycle community in the lower mainland. We would also like to ask the experienced guys out there to help out for our sessions as mentors to the new riders.
We know Flying Swan, 5th gear and other shops and a lot of other people have done this. We acknowledge that, and we give you guys credits for doing so. However, these newbie specific activities seemed to slow down quite a bit over the past seasons. We would like to continue that tradition as our contribution to the motorcycle community in the lower mainland.
If you have any thoughts or if you would like to join us for the current "off season newbie social nights", feel free to join and leave a reply here. The upcoming event is on November 7th. Here is the link http://www.bcsportbikes.com/forum/sh...d.php?t=105434
