This is/was my first season riding. I took a course to get my license this summer. I rode VERY conservative and VERY defensive for 2.5 months until I became familiar with my bike. Then I got too cocky. I bought a 2003 CBR 600RR as my first bike. I bought the best gear I could afford after I bought my bike and rode all gear all the time. It saved me from a massive amount of injuries when I crashed. I still think that a 600 is not a bad option to start on.... if you can be responsible. I'll definitely next time. Learned my lesson and it was an expensive one.
Crash: My crash was an irresponsible move in an innappropriate place. And inexperience in a emergency situation was the reason I went down.
Details: After I sort out insurance if I decide to claim it.
Injuries: Pics at the bottom.
