After hearing positive feedback from a few people I ride with respect to Rod @ RMR, I gave him a shot the other day.
I went in with the intent to get new springs in my forks, as I felt I was pushing the limits of the lighter factory units.
Rod took a look at my settings, and felt they were out of whack, and proceeded to set them up properly. I have fully adjustable front & rear, including, preload, rebound and compression.
Once he set them up, it was like riding a new bike....I was absolutely amazed at the how different it rode, and this was noticeable within 1 minute of the 1st test ride.
He then tweaked & fine tuned at bit more, sent me out to test again, and it's like new....again, hard to believe it's the same bike.
Once done, he then suggested that we could go ahead and replace the front springs, but also suggested that I might want to save the money, and ride it as-is because it was actually very close to being dialed in.
He charged me under $60, and I rode away with what felt like a brand new bike!
Not too many people in this business who would not gladly take your money, when you had the full intent of spending it, and suggest to hold off for a while.
If your bike has adjustable suspension, and it's not been professionally set up for YOU, I can't speak highly enough for an inexpensive service like this.
There's absolutely NOTHING I could have done for that little money that could change my bikes riding characteristics this much....kudos to RMR!
