Just an update... I know that there is another post started to wish him well. For those who have not heard about it, He was involved in an accident on the street involving a car that made an illegal U-turn in front of him.
He is a close friend and has been working with me to share his expertise and help me achieve my goals as a racer. I am forever indebted to him for the knowlege and support he has been able to pass to me. He has also worked with a huge number of students, many Canadian, thru the STAR school in the last several years. Anyone who has had the opportunity to get instruction from him, I'm sure can agree. He is also the editor of Sport Rider magazine and has a lot of followers thru the magazine, a great writer as well!
Andrew Trevitt will have a long road to recovery ahead of him. So far he has gone thru surgery to fuse several vertebrate, and was only able to endure half of the last surgery for his arm. He has many more ahead and can only proceed when he has enough strength for each additional operation.
This is a tragic accident that no one deserves to face.
Lots of people around me have asked what they can do to help? How can they be of assistance to the family?
Just a thought to support him, his wife Debbie and his family thru the road to recovery, and maybe a perfect time with Christmas coming... We can buy his book. It's a great book and a large portion of the proceeds go directly to him.
