I bought some carburetors off Ebay that the guy claims to be from a CBR600F2.
Upon receipt of the carbs, I notice that they are very similar but not identical to my F2 carbs.
The ones I received have extra components, strange jetting and smaller float needles.
Since Keihin makes their carbs specifically for each manufacturer, there are no significant (Honda) part #'s on them to identify what bike they belong to.
I would say that they are F3 carbs due to the extra plumbing and strange jetting (outer 2 carbs have 138 mains, inner 2 have 140 mains) BUT these carbs do not have a throttle position sensor that is standard for the F3.
I have considered that these carbs are from a California model F2 but that's not the case.
The float bowls are also marked inside "A2/B2" and the only significant # I can find on the carbs is: 61BAKJ
I have tried the Keihin website, but again because these are made OEM for Honda you cannot find them on the Keihin website or from a Keihin supplier.
Does anybody know how I can find out what bike these carbs belong to so that I can re-sell them?
Here are some pictures if you want to take a guess:
