I wonder if chrome assists in the braking process, or if the caliper helps keep the chain aligned. Is chain lube on the disc conducive to better braking performace?

I just wonder how the old chain lube stays out of the brake pads ??

These custom "V" twin builders don't let common sense and good engineering principles get in the way of building chrome toilets with wheels!

Isn't this available on one of the Buells? Or was it a custom setup I saw before? Either way, it was at the front of the chain (yep - chain on a Buell, so probably custom), not the back.

All the newer HD's are as well.....Your just gonna see set up's like this on one off choppers and show bikes.

Chrome brakes don't work so well. Had a customer with a Roadstar had em done...Got stainless lines and new pads and still sucked more than the stock set up.

Sure looked pretty running wide into that ditch!!!
