I'll admit it. I have an unhealthy obsession with the Merritt run. I liiiike it.
A crazy idea just popped into my head to uhhh... drive it. On winter tires (+ chains & shovel in the trunk), of course.
The interior gets lots of snow so I'm thinking it would be a nice scenic drive. Haven't been to the interior in the winter...
What can I expect from the roads there at this time of year? I'm thinking of taking the usual route: Van -> Lougheed -> Hope -> Lytton -> Spences Bridges -> Merrit -> Princeton -> Manning Park -> Hope -> Van
I'm not looking to beat any time records, but doing at least the speed limit would be nice. Possible, or is there just too much snow for this?
