My 85 interceptor has a hose which connects my crankcase breather box to the airbox, for some reason I'm getting oil leaking up the hose into the airbox. Just wondering if anyone has any fixes to this. The hose is for emission controls. There's a schematic attached that shows how it works, I'm thinking that the Collection box must be clogged or something, can anyone help me out? The oil leak is slow, but it has made quite a mess over the last 6000 miles.
Here's what the clymer manual says about it
To comply with air pollution standards, the
Honda V-4's are equipped with a crankcase
breather system. The system shown in Figure 59 is
used on Magna models and Figure 60 shows the
system used on Interceptor models. Each system
draws blowby gases from the crankcase and
recirculates them into the fuel/air mixture and thus
into the engine to be burned.
