Alright, so I've got this exhaust. The circumstances resulting in the damage will not be discussed, however, it could be said that the exhaust got a little close to the ground in some extreme maneouvers. The edge is now scratched, and the whole thing is made of titanium. Ordinarily I woudn't give a shit; I'd sell it and get a different one, but this thing was over a grand and there's a two-month waiting list for new ones. I'm wondering if this damage will more or less be able to be ground out and polished, maybe covered up by getting it Jett coated or something. I'd like to take the rivets out and trim a quarter-inch from the edge, then put the cap back on, but from what I've heard about machining titanium, that's no small order. Advice?
