For those of you who were saying/thinking that richard was not as hardcore as he claims to be, I had an excuse for not bringing my bike to Joey's in the rain today.
I was all suited with the helmet on to go to joey's tonight. I thought that I would check my tire pressures as I had topped them off a couple days ago when the rain started. 35 in the front and 25 in the rear! No wonder my back end felt so loose in the wet the last couple days.
Well I now have a slow leak.
The tire's off the bike. Only 3 bolts for the muffler and 4 lugs to get the tire off and nothing else. No brakes, no chain, no allignment to worry about. I love my swingarm!
If I have to replace this tyre I will be on my 4th rear tire in 37,000km.
1) OEM blown after 500km by a giant staple.
2) D207 lasted until 22,000km (1st new 207 front)
3) D207 slow leak at 37,000km
I should probably just buy a new 207, as the wear marks are about to appear in the center. I was hopeing that it would last a bit longer so I could start the summer with a new one, but I guess I will have to break a new on in in the rain! lol
