    innus & gunn beer

You gotta try this stuff. It goes down great but is a hard beer to find. A few Keg's have it and you can buy it by the bottle in Liquor stores. It's brewed in oak barrels and has a completely different taste to it. SMOOOOOOOTH

    I love special beers.
I just checked their website and the liquor store in Clearwater sells it. Guess what I'll be doing tomorrow.......

6.6 and 7.4? Americans can only dream of such high numbers (especially as they'd have to use two hands to count that high).

The Scots do tend to have a talent for producing fine-tasting alcoholic beverages. My favourite beer when I lived in Britain was Younger's Tartan. One of the few beers that tasted the same whether it was draught or bottled.

A friend bought me one for my birthday last year (or the year before?). It was very good. At $3.50/bottle (in the store, not the bar!) it's not something you'd want to pound back, though. It's too good for that anyway. More of a "with dinner" beer.

I haven't been able to find the rum cask ones anywhere lately.

On another note, has anyone tried "Hells Gate" beer yet?

I've had a few of the lager, it's not bad product. Advertised as premium, taste is good, price is cheap.

    So far good value.

Downing a few Kilkenny as I type... LOL.

the rum cask ones were a limited run, so I'm not surprised they are running out of them. If you find them, snatch them up before they are all gone!

I've tried this beer before and it didn't impress me much.
However, it's been at least two years since I last picked one up, so maybe a re-sampling is in order.

    huh?
I've tried it twice, and didn't like it much both times. Too hard alcohol tasting for my tastes.

    mmmmm... beer!

i cant drink beer any more but that was one of my favorates.
the honey porter in the oval bottle is very nice (can not remembar name), when i was in England they had a fruit ale that was awesome. the bottle makes for a great olive oil container.

I'm just here for the intelligent conversation.
I should try that. I usually stock my fridge with nothing but this stuff

    Blanche de Chambly

    Maudite

    and

    La Fin du monde

I always have a 12 pack sampler in the fridge. It comes with an apple flavoured Ephemere which I could do without, but the other three are amazing.
