Where to find a cheap topcase locally?

Anyone know of where to get a cheap topcase for a Givi monokey base? I'm thinking Kappa luggage would be cheaper than actual Givi stuff. Anyone know of any sales or have one kicking around they want to get rid of?

I think RMS sells them and so does BK. Anyone else I can call? I did read at one point Modern was clearing some out.

    TIA

Hard to say when you don't mention how much you wanna spend. I bought a Givi V46 top case from Holeshot days before they moved & didn't think it was expensive. Define 'cheap'. I know some of the SHAD stuff is inexpensive, same with the JC Whitney boxes.

Whoops, just noticed you want to know WHERE to buy cases, not WHAT cases to buy. My bad.

I got a great deal on a GIVI right around inventory time at RMS, so it might be worth checking them out. I'd also consider a WTB post on some other forums.

FWIW, my GIVI stuff has served me well for 10yrs and well over 100000km of on-bike use. It's worth it.

Hey, I noticed the SHAD ebay 'store' is Calgary based. It's more than what I paid for my V46...

I bought a couple tiny Kappa K21 side cases from Modern last fall, and they gave me a deal that was cheaper than the best US discounted rate I could find. It was my first and only purchase from them....impressed.

I imagine is varies, but may be worth a call...mention CASH sale...that always helps.

I bought a used 46L Kappa top case, and it's great....same as Givi, with Monokey mounts of course.

Most of the other brands do not mate with the Monokey base, some can be modified slightly.

    * See if this guys wants to part out his top case...ya never know unless you ask:

Thanks Bill but would you happen to know if it will fit the Monokey base and still be removeable like it's supposed to be?

Chia: thanks man I will email him and see if he will part out.
