Well...the title says it all. Luckily, asides from some brusing and minor cuts, I'm A-OK! Misjudged the road condition on a banked corner leaving TWU. The fresh rain paired with newish tires (less than 200km on them) on that stretch of road was a bad combo.
The damage is rather minor thanks to the frame sliders. Need a new front brake lever, rear brake foot peddal, right mirror, windshield, and exhaust. Minor paint scraping, but no cracks, so new paint. All in all, not much damage.
I was wondering though, when I slid, the engine cut out and I could smell a ton of gas. Guessing it flooded. Should I try starting it now that its rested for a while, or is there a chance that the internals are damaged? I guess a mechanic is going to have to try eventually any ways...I just don't want to do further damage, really love my bike.
