I'm not sure what forum this should be posted in, so perhaps a mod can move it to the right spot. Thanx!
I'm attending the Ducati/Lotus MotoCorsa track day in Portland on Monday, April 20th... http://www.motocorsa.com/index.cfm?f...tent.trackDays
This track day is open to cars and motorcycles; it's a really fun mix of exotic cars and sport bikes taking turns doing laps. This event is recommended to drivers and riders with track day experience only. You must know your flags and track etiquette.
PIR (Portland Raceway) is in my opinion the best track in the North West. They resurfaced it just last year.
Anyhow, the wife and I are driving the Lotus down to Portland on Saturday the 18th and driving back up on Tuesday the 21st. I'm taking the scenic route through Port Townsend. Anyone who'd like join us for the ride, let me know! Here's the route: http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...3,8.459473&z=8
Or if you just want to shoot down for the actual day, it's an awesome event and totally worth the cheap as dirt $200(USD) price tag to wring your bike or car around PIR for an entire day. Last year's event had quite a few exotic cars on the track like the entire Lotus pedigree lineup, a Ford GT and pretty much every Porsche imaginable. Luckily some guys brought Mustangs with them so we had something to pass. And the bikes of course were awesome.
