i've got about 5,000k on my tires (new bike) and the rear tire is gettin close to pooched.
the front however is just fine.
what do u guys think about running a dual compound rear with the OEM front?

Not totally uncommon, as many people will go through 2 rears for every 1 front.

It would be ideal to get a matching set, but you'll be fine.

For the streets you won't notice much. I run a Pirelli Diablo front and a Michelin Pilot rear. Works fine.
